DI pipes and fittings have similar properties with cast iron, however, the addition of magnesium content in Ductile Iron pipe allows itself to exhibit excellent ductility, good elastic module and high tensile strength properties. Hence, making DI an ideal product for Drinking, Irrigation Water Systems, Sewage Drainage, Rain Water Networks, and Fire-Fighting Systems.

Ductile Iron pipes are manufactured in standard lengths of 6 m and can handle pressures from gravity up to 64 bars. In addition, Ductile Iron pipe & fittings are available in sizes ranging from DN 80 mm to DN 1600 mm.

Two jointing systems / Connections for Ductile Iron pipes are available and they are Push-in Joint and Locked Push-On Joint.

Standard Internal lining for pipes and fittings is Cement Mortar Lining (Sulphate Resistant Portland Type V).
