GRE pipe technology is a discontinuous winding process using high strength fiberglass (E-glass) and amine cured epoxy resin as basic material. Numerically controlled machines manufacture the product on a mandrel in a cross section filament winding process. The continuous glass fibres are wound at a 54 ¾° helical angle and connected with the epoxy resin.
