Configuring Microsoft Exchange - iPhone or iPod
1. On your device, tap Settings

2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.

3. Tap Add Account...

4. Tap Microsoft Exchange.

Microsoft Exchange Configuration
- In the appropriate fields, enter the following information:
- Email: [xxxx]@amiantit.com
- Domain: SAAC.COM
- Username: Amiantit Network [abcdxxxx]
- Password: Network Password[******]
- Description: Amiantit Mail (or preferred description)
- Tap Next. The screen will fade and prompt you to accept the certificate.
- The account configuration settings will reappear with a new field for the server name. Enter the following information:
- Server: mail.amiantit.com
6. You will be asked whether you want your calendar and
contacts synced as well. After choosing which items to sync,
tap Done.
Note:
Note: Only mail will push* to your phone, unless you tell it to push everything. To do so:
1. Tap Mail, Contacts, and Calendars button in the Preferences app.
2. Tap the Millsaps email account you created and tap the Mail Folders to Push button at the bottom.
3. Select the folder(s) that you want the device to push, and your phone will synchronize those folders automatically.
4. Verify that the push switch is On for your mail in the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars preference menu under Fetch New Data.
*”Push” is the ability to update information via wireless on any device or computer that has the same account. So far, Google Sync (for contacts and calendars ONLY), Microsoft Exchange servers (like Millsaps email) and Apple, Inc.’s MobileMe service support push while others will “fetch,” i.e., receive information every 15, 30, or 60 minutes
