Established in 2001 in Bahrain, as a joint venture between Amiantit and Meyer of Germany, AMP provides the technology for the manufacture of a wide range of polymer concrete products. These include jacking pipes, gravity pipes, egg shaped pipes, manholes, slab manholes, liner pipes, and filter pipes. These products are made from a homogenous blend of polyester resin, aggregate materials and micro silica. The resin bonds to the silica aggregate to create a dense, non-porous corrosion resin material with exceptional compressive and bending strength. This makes Meyer Polycrete the perfect pipe for sanitary sewers, manholes, micro tunnelling and jacking pipe applications.
Produced in circular and noncircular shapes, the pipes have a smooth inner bore to ensure excellent hydraulic characteristics. Their lightweight construction and high compressive strength allow for higher jacking loads, chambers and overflow shafts, while a superior, preassembled jointing system provides a watertight seal up to 2.4 bars. Meyer Polycrete meets and often exceeds the requirements of DIN Standard specification 54815 and ASTM D6783 Standard Specification for polymer concrete pipes.
