In 2001, Amiantit acquired a 51 per cent stake in CPI, which was established in 1998 in Sohar in Oman.
Obtaining its expertise by a technology transfer from the former French company SEPMA, CPI manufactures GRE, GRP and GRV pipes, fittings, flanges and spools in diameters ranging from 25 to 2,400 mm. Uses include crude oil transmission lines for various locations inside and outside Oman.
CPI provides its clients with a comprehensive design and engineering service through its technical team, in close cooperation with Amipox Technology Ltd.
